NADAWM Conference 2014

The NADAWM Conference in 2014 was open to all DAWMs and took place at Hinsley Hall, Leeds. It was a 24 hour conference running from 2pm on Tuesday 20th May and finishing with lunch on Wednesday 21st. The conference took as its theme the Transformations Agenda described here.

We were joined by the Revd Dr Daphne Green, Chaplain and Researcher to the Archbishop of York, and the Revd Lis Goddard, Chair of AWESOME, both of whom are members of the Transformations Steering Group. We had with us two of the eight women who have been elected to attend meetings of the House of Bishops.

The conference was an opportunity to explore the Transformations Agenda and we fed  into it from our own perspectives, assessing how the work we do at diocesan level  reflects, roots and informs all of this.

It is essential that we cascade the learning from this successful conference back to the dioceses.
